All you need to know to get used to the blue page.

This is the page where you can look through IFRA’s FIG and learn more about perfume ingredients. It also lets you contribute to the knowledge base and add ingredients to your collection from here.

Search bar

You can search for ingredients via CAS number, the names they have, or descriptors. You can save the urls somewhere in case you often refer to a certain search query.

If you cannot find an ingredient, try searching by CAS number. When the ingredient is found, do consider leaving a suggestion with the name you expected this compound to have.

Suggestion mode

Feel free to express yourself and put your experience into words.

When you have submitted a suggestion you can track it on your profile page. I will do my best to timely incorporate your contribution into the database.

By contributing, you are associating your username with the ingredient. Everybody learning something new will be thankful when seeing you as one of the contributors. This is just like Wikipedia.
